Parent/Teen Workshops
WORTH 4 TORAH HIGH HOURS
Torah High will be offering students three Parent & Teen Workshops throughout the year.
Each will feature multiple levels of educational instruction and activities. These multiple levels of educational instruction and activities are differentiated according to course strands and expectations, and are assessed like any other part of a Torah High course.
The workshops will include various activities, programs and classes centering on topics of interest to both students and their parents.
Workshops will take place at two central locations. The central South hub is located at the Village Shul, and the North Hub is located Aish Hatorah.
- South Locations: include students attending Torah High Classes at Forest Hill Jewish Center, Kehilat Sharreit Torah, or the Village Shul.
- North Locations: Include students attending Torah High Classes at North Thornhill Community Center, Aish Hatorah.
- Students who attend the Clanton Park location may be considered north or south depending on where they live. Please contact the office for details.
Please note the following:
- To receive any hours, students must attend the workshop in its entirety. Any student who does not do so, for whatever reason, may lose some or all of the hours that the workshop offers.
- Workshops are limited to a certain number of students. Register early to avoid disappointment.
- Students must pre-register for the workshop by RSVP or through registering online. Any student who simply shows up for the workshop may not be eligible to receive any hours.
- Each student MUST be accompanied by an adult family member, preferably a parent.
- Students will not be allowed to attend the workshop without an accompanying family member
- Please note that students may complete a maximum of three different workshops for a maximum total of 12 hours.
